Sarah Auman:
The idea for Out Of The Blue came to Sarah one afternoon while she was reading on the porch of her Blue Ridge home. "Having come from a family history of hometown hardware stores and personally spending 28 years in the photo industry, I was dedicated to becoming the "modern day" gourmet shop owner." With a passion for the finest wines, gourmet foods, exquisite table linens and all aspects of entertaining, it is Sarah's goal for each customer experience to be intimate and exciting. Sarah invites you to come in, make yourself at home and know that we understand the art of gourmet living in the North Georgia Mountains.

Sheri Berry:
After flying with Delta for twenty years, Sheri landed in Blue Ridge and Out Of The Blue took full advantage of that! Beautiful, funloving and smart, Sheri brings a hearty laugh and tremendous enthusiasm to everything she does....did we mention great taste? How lucky can we get? With a wonderful home on Lake Blue Ridge, her two dachshunds and husband Chris, Sheri is here to stay.
Linda Pringle:
Partners in life for seventeen years, Linda continues to do what she does best...SUPPORT. Handling all the correspondence with our vendors, making sure all shipments are ecologically packaged, recycling everything from coffee grounds to cardboard, Linda keeps things ship shape. If she isn't on horse back in the woods, she is probably handling a tasting of her favorite products (Dulcet) or in the back room rearranging Sarah's office!

Chef Hans Rueffert:
While some people have a soundtrack to their lives, Hans Rueffert has a menu. The self-proclaimed "Restaurant Boy" was raised upstairs above the Woodbridge Inn Restaurant in downtown Jasper, GA and has spent his entire life with food. Hans spent over a dozen years as the Inn's Chef and now hosts his own cooking show in North Georgia. In 2005, Hans was selected out of 10,000 applicants to be one of 8 finalist (the only one from the South) to compete on the show - The Next Food Network Star, and finished third in that competition. Hans is a genuine food freak and loves to share his culinary epiphanies with others. You can find more about Hans at: www.hanscooks.com.

Libby Stewart:
Was born and raised in rural North Carolina where nearly all her fond memories are centered around the celebration of food. Her training in the Culinary Arts extends from Europe to the Eastern Coast of the U.S. but her love for the mountains brought her to Blue Ridge where she continues to study. This time sustainable farming, organic gardening and the art of cheese making. Fortunately for all the "foodies" of Blue Ridge, Libby shares her passion for life combined with healthy food by teaching classes at Out Of The Blue. Now that is class you would not want to miss!

Susan Van Veld:
Susan and her husband, David, love life in the slow lane. They moved to their cabin in Blue Ridge almost four years ago after retiring from careers in public education in Naples, Florida. Susan loves to tell friends and customers that she can't believe that she actually "gets paid to play at Out of the Blue". Decorating, cooking, gardening, and entertaining are at the top of Susan's list of passions, which explains why she is so passionate about Out of the Blue. Stop by to meet Susan, and allow her to show you our beautiful French table linens, stunning Table Art by Michael Michaud, or any of our myriad wines and gourmet delicacies.
